It all starts with various metal bands in the 90's, but with distinct reference to the jazz guitar that he grew up with. This combination resulted in an aggressive sound with complex harmonic structures, shaped as the band Wombat in Combat. Later he turned towards modern jazz in Vestbirk Noiz Ensemble, a 13-man piece headed by Niels Præstholm, and known for playing anything from pipes, table tennis balls, washing machines, samplers, antique radios and a thundering bass.

In 1999 this lead him to give birth to the Monolog with debut mumbler 2000. A solo project colored by the sound of his prior musical endeavors, but adding an distinct experimental angle to his music production. He became a resident at Søvnig Mandag and 9000massive as a drum and bass DJ, drawing a long trail in musical scapes and structures through a long series of clashes with extreme noise, IDM and drum and bass – some of which were released as a series of 12" ep's and a full length album on the Tender Productions label, as well as on other smaller labels.

Later, his live activities were rooted in the Wendel Club in Berlin as well as the stage at Zentrale Randlage with its improvised music and modern jazz aesthetics. He soon bonded with EPY from Trust in Austria through a series of live shows in Berlin, while also playing doom jazz with Anders Holst Jensen of Danish stages. Later playing a number of other Berlin-venues indulging in more functional aesthetic delivering break core sets including the Berghain Kantine club. Recently also in a duo project with Karsten Pflum as A Dying User. Or solo launching drum and bass and skewed wreckstep sets at raumklang, m.i.k.z, subland or other bass dungeons. Currently finishing up the Aerodymanic vinyl summing up recent steps in a harder, more dense and direct form, new to the monolog alias.

The Monolog project is constantly changing, aiming for extremities and seeking them musically, technically and emotionally. Whether it is hammering the drums or creating soothing harmonies, these musical poles are given life by Monolog's binding of contrasts.

Todo comienza con varias bandas Metal de los noventas, pero con una diferente referencia a la guitarra de jazz con la que crecio. Esta combinacion resultó en un agresivo sonido de compleja estructura harmonica, moldeada como la banda Wombat in combat. Luego pasaron por un jazz moderno en Vestbirk Noiz Ensemble, una formacion de 13 hombres liderada por Niels Praestholm, conocido por tocar de todo proveniente de tubos, pelotas de ping pong, lavadoras, samples, radios antiguas y "Thundering bass".

En 1999 esto lo llevo a dar a luz a "The Monolog" con debut mumbler 2000. Un proyecto solista coloreado por el sonido de sus esfuerzos anteriores, pero agregando un angulo experimental diferente a su produccion musical.

Se convirtio en residente de Sovng Mandag y 9000massive como Dj de drum and bass, dibujando un largo camino en paisajes y estructuras a traves de una larga serie de enfrentamientos con el extreme noise, IDM y el drum & Bass,algunas de las cuales fueron lanzadas como una serie de Eps de 12" y un LP bajo el sello Tender Productions, como en otros sellos mas pequeños.

Mas tarde, sus actividades en vivo fueron enraizadas en el Wendel Club en Berlin y tambien en el Stage del Zentrale Randlage con su improvisada musica y esteticas de modern jazz. Pronto firma con EPY de Trust en Austria a traves de una serie de presentaciones en vivo en otros locales de Berlin, incluyendo una estetica mas funcional llevando sets Break Core a lugares como la Bergain Kantine CLub. Recientemiente este tambien en un proyecto en duo con Karsen Pflum bajo el nombre de Dying User. Tambien se presenta con sets drum and bass y Skewed wreckstep sets en raumklag, m.i.k.z, subland u otros antros bass. Actualmente esta terminando el vinilo titulado "aerodynamic"sumiendose así en una faceta mas pesada , más densa y en forma mas directa, algo nuevo para el trabajo bajo el alias de MONOLOG. El proyecto Monolog está constantemente cambiando, en mira de extremarse y buscarse musicalmente, tecnicamente y emcionalmente. Donde el está "martillando" baterias o creando suaves harmonias, estos polos musicales le estan dando vida a los constrastes buscados por Monolog.
